This project had many angles and details.  Wood clapboard was the existing exterior and we removed all of it, except for the back.  New wood panels was installed only 3 years ago, so we decided to keep it.  To remove the old panels and apply it again was not necessary because it was in great shape.

A combination of vinyl, wood, aluminum fascia was installed for this project.  To combine the the different material was necessary because it’s best to keep some of the old facade for a colonial house.   The aluminum can’t properly bend around the angles and some of the old architect is best to keep it as is.

It is something we need to examine closely.   For example the home owner has sentimental attachment to the old construction because it was his first house.  Together we figured out what was the best route to take and worked within his budget.
